The Tippecanoe Child Abuse Prevention Council (T-CAP) is a non-profit organization which was formed in 1993 to prevent all forms of child abuse and neglect in Tippecanoe County by promoting a child's right to a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

 

T-CAP, with the help of a multi-disciplinary team of local law enforcement agencies, Child Protective Services, the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office, and mental health and medical professionals, as well as a grant from the Criminal Justice Institute, has established Heartford House.
